Raised in nearby Olympia, Washington, Dr. Lucas Trerice developed his passion for curiosity early on, even earning the high school title of "Most Likely to Watch PBS." He completed his undergraduate studies in pre-med at The Evergreen State College (TESC), where he famously guided underground tours through the campus’s iconic steam tunnels.

Dr. Lucas went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) as a founding class member at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. During his doctoral studies, he established the university's student research organization and gained lighthearted international notoriety for his creative, memorable pranks.

A dedicated practitioner in youth dental care since 2008, Dr. Lucas has spent two years educating future dental assistants and seven years providing essential care at a children's non-profit dental clinic. He maintains active membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Beyond the clinical realm, his diverse background includes legal consultation, professional yo-yo instruction, semi-professional board game design, and a knack for making friends with local wildlife.

Dr. Lucas believes going to the dentist should be an adventure kids look forward to. As a big kid at heart, he intuitively understands how to ease anxieties, spark laughter, and build lasting trust with young patients. He is thrilled to share his extensive clinical expertise with families throughout the Yelm community.
